Welcome to my blog, the Japan Viewer. This blog is dedicated to stimulating all of your senses through my ongoing experiences visiting Japan. So, relax, grab a bowl of popcorn, and let me take you away on a journey of fun new discoveries!
I suppose you want to know more about the mysterious writer for the Japan Viewer, so here is something to capture your interest.
My name is Matt (good luck trying to figure out my last name 😉 ). I graduated with My Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences and focused on the micro side of life. I am also a soon-to-be dental student, after trying and reapplying for 4 years, and am I ever glad that hurdle has been passed. I never used to think that I would travel outside the U.S., and appeared to believe I was quite content with the life I had.
This all changed when I met my wife. It happened on the first day of college when one of my former high school friends introduced me to her saying they thought we would be a good match up. It turns out, they were spot on and we have been together since September of 2009. It is because of my wife that I had been given my first opportunity to travel to another country. For the heck of it, we randomly picked Japan to visit, right? That would also be misleading to say so because my wife is Japanese, so we had a bit of a bias to visit Japan over any other given country.
Taking that chance, I opened up my eyes to a new world I never could have imagined, and changed who I was drastically from that first trip. I would now like to share all of the experiences I can put together to make your visits to my blog enjoyable and exciting!
If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you. Please leave your message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible, in whatever method you make available to me.
